    Advanced ICU Care, the leading tele-ICU provider in the United States, is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our IT team as a Network Engineer. The Network Engineer must have at least 3 years of Cisco network support experience.  Although this position will primarily be supporting the network infrastructure, it would also be beneficial that the candidate have experience with supporting Microsoft Windows servers, VMWare, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP, Citrix XenApp, SCCM, and Group Policy.

    Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities for this position include:

    • Diagnose and provide solutions to recurring problems
    • Assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration and security best practices
    • Plan, organize and prepare technical documents that support new I.T. procedures.
    • Act as ultimate point of escalation for network related issues, Windows PCs and laptops for AICU clinicians and other end-users
    • Monitor network usage, anticipate problems, and suggest solutions
    • Provide basic network troubleshooting for outages/issues reported at client sites
    • Support and coordinate the hospital technical implementation process related to hardware selection and installation, testing and training

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
    • 3-5 years progressive hands-on technical experience
    • 3 years of supporting a Cisco network environment
    • CCNA certified (desired)
    • Microsoft Certified Professional (desired)
    • Imprivata SSO or similar experience (desired)
    • Must be able to work overtime and on-call rotations, including nights and weekends
