This position will assist the lead in the design, development and testing of database solutions that support clinical workflows and business processes. This individual will work from our office in Irvine, CA.

    Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities for this position include:

     

    • Designs and manages development guidelines with regards to any development done within the context of the database.
    • Ensures that tables and queries are performing at their optimal level.
    • Develops ETL processes utilizing SSIS and other technologies to help facilitate data needs. This would be both for our overall application needs and our reporting environments.
    • Work with our clinical analytics team to understand reporting requirements along with developing supporting documentation (schema, data dictionary, etc…) for development.

    Qualifications

     

    • T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SQL Server 2008, 2012
    • Mid-level understanding of Tableau reporting environment
    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
    • Two or more years in distributed systems design and development
    • Two years database development experience
    • Two years developing detailed design specifications, policies/procedures, and test plans
